Avenue Q

Avenue Q returns to the West End for its 20th-anniversary revival, reuniting original Broadway director Jason Moore with original puppet designer Rick Lyon. The adult musical comedy follows recent graduate Princeton as he moves into a rundown New York neighbourhood and tries to find a job, a relationship and a sense of purpose. Human actors and puppets share the stage as the residents confront money, dating, identity and the realities of adulthood through sharp humour and catchy songs. Featuring music and lyrics by Robert Lopez and Jeff Marx and a book by Jeff Whitty, Avenue Q is warm-hearted, irreverent and firmly aimed at mature audiences rather than children.
