Paranormal Activity Extends Its West End Run and Adds a Late-Night Halloween Show

London audiences can hold their nerve a little longer: Paranormal Activity has extended its West End run at the Ambassadors Theatre through 27 February 2027. The 6 October announcement also adds a special late-night Halloween performance, giving horror fans three chances to see the play on Saturday 31 October: 2.30pm, 7pm and 10.30pm.

A new story for the stage

This is not a direct recreation of the films. The official production site describes Paranormal Activity as a new story inspired by the screen franchise. James and Lou move from Chicago to London to escape their past, only to discover that “places aren’t haunted, people are…”

The play is written by Levi Holloway and directed by Felix Barrett, founder and Artistic Director of Punchdrunk. Produced by arrangement with Paramount Pictures, the production combines live performance, illusion, lighting, sound and video to create its unsettling atmosphere.

Cast, schedule and venue

The newly announced London company features Ty Fanning as James, Ami Okumura Jones as Lou, Kirsty Bushell as Etheline Cotgrave and Pippa Winslow as Carolanne, as listed by the official production. The show is playing at the Ambassadors Theatre, West End venue on West Street, London.

From the week of 4 January 2027, Thursday 2.30pm matinees will join the schedule. The Halloween late show sits alongside the 2.30pm and 7pm performances on 31 October, while the extended booking continues into February.

Paranormal Activity is a supernatural thriller play rather than a musical. It runs for two hours including the interval. The venue guidance advises that the production contains moments of high tension and strong language, and recommends caution for audiences under 15.

For audiences searching for a scary West End play, the extension and additional Halloween performance offer more opportunities to experience this live theatrical take on the hit horror franchise.
